I needed a break from my myriad of projects I have on my to do list, but wanted to continue inking and painting. Going through a pile of pencilled comic book pages was this little gem I had sketched a few months ago and so I figured it would be a nice fast fun illustration. It was fun, but I ended up spending my Saturday evening and good part of Sunday working on, which wasn't what my wife had in mind for me. Why can't my clone do all of the husbandy stuff?

I had a great time at the convention, drawing up a storm, meeting some wonderful people and learning a whole lot on what to do for the next con. These are some of the drawings I did, and continue to do as I get ready for next year. I set limitations on each drawing, such as drawing from memory, no referencing, time limits of around an hour and warm and cool grays for rendering. Its helping with my process and fun to do.
